The National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR) is currently seeking applications from suitable candidates to fill the position of Junior Research Fellow in the DBT-MKB-YRFP project. This project, entitled “Exploring the link between calcium signaling and sugar transport in the root endophytic mutualism of Piriformospora indica and Arabidopsis thaliana,” is under the supervision of Dr. Abhimanyu Jogawat, M.K. Bhan Fellow at NIPGR.
Position: Junior Research Fellow (One post)
Emoluments per month: INR 31,000/- plus 24% HRA
Qualification: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Life Science/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology with experience in plant and biotic interaction and related molecular biology techniques. Candidates selected through the National Eligibility Test are eligible to apply.
The above position is temporary and will be co-terminus with the project. The fellowship amount and emoluments for this position will be as per the sanctioned project and DBT/DST norms. The initial appointment will be for one year or until the project’s tenability, whichever is earlier. The appointment may be extended or curtailed based on the candidate’s performance and the discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate based on their qualifications and experience. Reservation of
posts will be as per Govt. of India norms. Any termination of appointment will require a one-month notice from either side. Please note that applicants will have no claim for consideration against any regular position at NIPGR.How to Apply:
