Molecular Biologist
Job Description
- Experience using Applied Biosystems RT-PCR instruments and associated software is highly desired.
- Probe based q-RT-PCR experience with data analysis is preferred.
- Analyze data, interpret results, and perform calculations.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for data analysis and interpretation.
- Organize and prioritize work to ensure on-time delivery of results.
- Maintain the above equipment in proper working order.
- Experience in molecular diagnostics, ideally in clinical testing facilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic statistics and molecular biology.
- Participate in quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of PCR and molecular biology techniques.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as DNA/RNA extraction, gel electrophoresis, and real-time PCR.
Education: Master’s level in Biotechnology or related field.
