About the Job

We are currently looking for a skilled Microbiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in microbiology, food testing, water testing, and lab analysis. The primary responsibilities include media preparation, performing food and water swab tests, conducting pathogen testing, maintaining quality documentation, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the work area. Additionally, the candidate must have experience in participating in proficiency testing and interlaboratory comparison programs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Media Preparation
  2. Performing food and water swab tests
  3. Conducting pathogen testing
  4. Quality documentation
  5. Maintaining workbooks, registers, and instrument logbooks
  6. Ensuring housekeeping of the work area
  7. Checking and maintaining stocks of chemicals, consumables, and glassware
  8. Carrying out assigned work by superiors
  9. Participation in proficiency testing and interlaboratory comparison programs
