Role Description

This is an on-site role located in Simbhaoli for a Micro Biologist. This role includes conducting microbiological tests, analyzing raw materials, finished products and water samples, and ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards. This team member will also be responsible for maintaining laboratory protocols and is expected to have a keen interest in emerging technologies and practices in the field of microbiology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Microbiology, Biology or a related field
  • To work in a lab setting conducting microbiological tests
  • Demonstrated knowledge of microbial techniques, including isolation, culture, and analysis
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards for the food and beverage industry will be added advantage.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team

I have recently completed my master’s in human genetics from guru nanak dev university and i have completed my bachelors in life science (biotechnology, biochemistry, Genetics) from bangalore university. During my studies I have learnt and practiced molecular techniques ( Dna isolation, quantification, PCR, Real time PCR, RFLP genotyping,Agarose gel electrophoresis). In biophysics and biochemistry I have practiced chromatography. In Cyto laboratory I have practiced karyotyping , making proforma for given disease, pedigree analysis, culturing of T lymphocytes from peripheral blood . During my last semester in masters i have done research on association of VEGF-2549 with male esophageal cancer patients and i have also done one day hands on training in Automated DNA sequencing in SMVDU. I have gone through your laboratory facilities and expertise. Please give me a chance to work with you under your guidance . i will wait for your reply
