About the Company
The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) School of Biotechnology, located in New Delhi, is inviting applications for a post in an ICMR-DHR funded project. The project is titled “Fabrication of handheld device for the Detection of micro-plastic in packaged bottled drinking water and its biodegradation” (Ref Number: F. No. R.11013/11/2023-GIA/HR). The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of research in the field of biotechnology.
Position: Project Associate-I (1 post)
The School of Biotechnology at JNU is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Project Associate-I. The selected candidate will be appointed for 1 year, with the possibility of extension for another year based on performance or project termination, whichever is earlier.
Essential Qualifications & Experience: M.Sc. or higher degree (with minimum 55% marks) in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or any related field.
Desirable
- Hands-on experience in operating scientific equipment such as Fluorescence Microscope, FTIR, etc.
- Experience in microbial handling.
Salary: The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 25,400.
