VACANCY NOTICE
Senior Research Fellow – 1 position
A Senior Research Fellow position is available in the Translational Health Group, ICGEB-New Delhi for a DBT funded project. The project is a part of a DBT consortium project with a focus on deciphering key metabolic and signalling networks utilized by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the causative organism of the deadly disease tuberculosis. The title of the project is ‘National Network Project of National Institute of Immunology, India’.
Educational Qualifications:
- Essential qualification: M.Sc. or B.Tech. in Life Sciences/Bioinformatics/Biochemistry, with 2 years research experience or M.Tech. in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics. Capability of working in BSL3 facility.
- Desirable qualification: Hands-on-experience in handling Mycobacterial tuberculosis strains/clinical isolates in BSL3 conditions, mammalian cell culture and bio-informatics experience in handling whole genome sequencing data.
