Responsibilities:
- Graduation/Post-Graduation in Science, Food technology, Microbiology, or DIFAT.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in FMCG, particularly in distilleries, breweries, beverages, or food industries.
- Hands-on experience in analysis techniques, lab instrument calibration and maintenance.
- Knowledge of QMS, FSMS & Sensory.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Implement high-quality standards in product and process to control quality defects in incoming and finished goods for customer satisfaction.
- Build and promote food safety and quality culture throughout the unit.
- Monitor end-to-end quality in incoming and online checks.
- Perform quality control and other related activities in the factories and materials.
- Check raw materials, packaging materials, in-process materials, and finished goods according to set quality standards.
- Maintain records and update SAP records.
- Train and develop shop floor workers.
- Conduct internal quality audits for GMP, GRMS, and SQIP.
- Liaise with government authorities such as FSSAI, LMR, and Excise for audit and compliance.
- Coordinate external laboratory sampling and equipment calibration as required.
- Analyze raw materials and packaging materials in a timely manner.
- Visit the market for new product surveys, quality assessments, and complaint sample collection.
- Demonstrate street smarts.
- Implement GMP/GLP, GSP, GHP, and 5S consistently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to maintain MIS data.
- Correspond with vendors for rejection handling and development in coordination with the site QA team.
- Display a quick learning and proactive attitude in work.
Qualifications:
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or DIFAT.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of analysis techniques and lab instrument calibration.
- Familiarity with QMS, FSMS & Sensory.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills.
