Applications are invited for the positions of Project Linked Persons for extramural projects to be executed by the National lnstitute of Biomedical Genomics, Kalyani.
Project Name & Funding Authority: Investigating the role of malignancy specific genes OSBPL3 and DLGAP5 in development and progression of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma / SERB, DST, Govt. of India
Project Description: The project aims to elucidate how the noncoding RNAs modulate the development and progression of pancreatic cancer in cell line model system.

Name of the Post: Project Assistant
Essential Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences/3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology
Desirable Qualification: Should have experience in working in cell/molecular biology laboratory & biospecimen collection from hospitals
Nature of Duty: DNA, RNA & Protein isolation, qRT-PCR, Gene cloning, Mammalian cell culture-based experiments; Biospecimen collection from hospitals
Consolidated and fixed monthly emolument: Rs. 20000/- pm + 24% HRA = Rs. 24800.00

This position is contractual. The appointment will be initially given for 10 months
