About the Role
As an Engineer – Process Utility, you will work with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team to develop designs for new facilities. This is a great opportunity to apply your engineering degree to exciting projects in an international consulting company and gain hands-on experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing P&ID and layout drawings, reviewing in 2D & 3D formats, proposing corrections, reporting deviations, and completing tasks within the given timeline
- Designing and analyzing process piping requirements, utility calculations, CIP/SIP system, and other process equipment against International regulatory standards
- Reviewing technical specifications of components and instruments against design requirements
- Designing sanitary valves, PRV, mixers, instruments, pump, vent filters, etc.
- Communicating effectively internally and externally across multiple disciplines and departments
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A BE/B. Tech or M. Sc/ME/M. Tech in Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology or equivalent, with a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in CD, BD, and DD phases of project execution
- GMP experience from the process, pharmaceutical, or life science industry
- Good understanding of ASME-BPE guidelines
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Familiarity with desktop software like Word and Excel, and knowledge/work experience in MS VISIO, AUTO CAD, NAVISWORK are preferred
