Job position: Senior Project Associate

No of posts: 01

Age limit: 40 years as on the last date of receiving applications (age relaxation as per CSIR rule).

Job description for Project Associate at CSMCRI :

Selected candidate will work on the CSIR project, titled ‘Identification of Potential Locations across India for Seaweed Cultivation and valorization technologies – WP1’ [HCP 0024]. The candidate is expected to co-ordinate with temporary project staff to achieve the objectives; additionally the candidate is expected to visit various seaweed farming locations along the PAN India coast; also undertaking culture of various statins in the laboratory; collection and identification of various seaweed species through morphological and molecular methods, etc.   

Essential Qualification: PhD in Biosciences

Desirable: 2 publications in SCI journals on seaweed biology or application as well as swimming are the desirable criteria. 

Fellowship: Rs. 42,000/- + HRA as per CSIR guidelines.
