JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW – 01 POSITION
• Project Title: A non-invasive approach to understanding the habitat use, activity regime, and movement ecology of Indian Rock Python, Python molurus from two select locations in India” (Duration- 17 months (extendable); Project PI- Dr Aditi Mukherjee, Dr H.N. Kumara & Dr Manchi Shirish S.)
• Essential Qualifications: Post graduate degree with minimum 55% in Wildlife Biology/ Zoology/Conservation Biology/ Biodiversity and Conservation/ Animal Sciences/ Conservation and Animal Science related subjects
• Desirable: 1) Excellent communication skill in English, 2) Proficiency in Hindi language, 3) Two-wheeler/Four Wheeler Driving License
• Upper Age limit as on 20-Sep-2023 : 28

• Project Title: Characterisation of wetland habitats in a breeding range of Spot-billed Pelican (Duration- 3 years; Project PI- Dr. T. Ramesh & Dr. Riddhika Ramesh)
• Essential Qualifications: Post graduate degree with minimum 55% in Wildlife Biology/ Zoology/Conservation Biology/ Biodiversity and Conservation/Life Sciences/Biodiversity related subjects
• Desirable: 1) Excellent communication skill in English, 2) Familiar with Wetland Ecology and wetland birds
• Upper Age limit as on 20-Sep-2023 : 28

• Description of Work: The selected candidate is expected to undertake extensive field surveys independently across districts of Tamil Nadu ii) The candidate needs to be well versed with conducting field surveys, wetland habitat evaluation and analysis, monitoring of wetland birds and their habitat, involved in developing bird conservation plan. and assist the Principal Investigators in other project activities.

JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW – 01 POSITION
• Project Title: Ecological assessment of endemic and threatened laughingthrushes of the Western Ghats to develop conservation plan for securing their population and habitats (Duration- 9 months; Project PI- Dr. S. Babu & Dr. R. Jayapal)
• Essential Qualifications: Applicants must have a postgraduate degree in Wildlife Biology/ Zoology/ Conservation Biology/ Biodiversity and Conservation/ or a related subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks or above
• Desirable: Research experience on birds of southern Western Ghats
• Upper Age limit as on 20-Sep-2023 : 28
• Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/per month plus HRA
• Description of Work: The selected candidate is expected to undertake extensive field surveys in the high-elevation regions of the southern Western Ghats for the laughingthrushes and assist the Principal Investigators in other project activities.

• Project Title: Training Communities in Bird Watching (Duration- One year (likely to be extended); Project PI- Dr. M. Mahendiran M & Dr. Goldin. Q)
• Essential Qualifications: Applicants must have a postgraduate degree in Wildlife Biology/ Zoology/ Conservation Biology/ Biodiversity and Conservation/ or a related subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks or above
