No.of Positions – One (01)

Duration –  Initial engagement of YP will be for one year which is extendable for two more years (01 year at a time) subject to the requirement of the services of the YP in the organization and satisfactory performance of the candidate after evaluation by an officer of the level of ADG / Director. Thus the maximum duration of engagement of YP in the ICAR is three years (1+1+1).

Age Limit  – The minimum age under the Young Professional category will be 21 years and the maximum 45 years as of the date of walk-in-Interview with relaxation as per rules

Mode of Engagement – Purely on a Contract (Temporary) basis

Note – Candidates fulfilling the following eligibility criteria are invited to attend Walk-in-interview for engagement/hiring of Young Professional-II (one position) on contract/short-term basis (purely temporary) to work under various Units / Sections / Projects at ICARNAARM, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500 030, Telangana.

Terms & Conditions

  1. All eligible candidates are advised to be present at least one hour before the scheduled time on the date of the Interview to complete the certificate verification formality. No entry/registration will be entertained after 10.30 A.M.
  2.  The positions are purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis till the termination of the scheme or as per the need, whichever is earlier. Duration of engagement can be curtailed/extended as per need and subject to the performance of the
    candidate.
  3. Already employed candidate should provide NOC from their present employer, failing which, they will not be allowed to attend the walk-in interview.
  4. The candidate should bring a hard copy of the duly filled-in application form, the latest passport-size Photograph and Original documents along with experience certificate(s) if any, at the time of the interview.
  5. Non-production of any of the original certificates for verification at the time of the Interview is liable to rejection of candidature. Any candidate who has deposited original certificates with the College / University / Employer should produce a Custodian Certificate.
  6. The appointment of the selected candidate will be subject to the condition that he/she is declared medically fit for service by the prescribed Medical Authority.
  7. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
  8. If the turnover for walk-in-interview is higher, the Academy may consider extending the date of the interview to the next day and also have a written screening test.
  9. Candidates are required to make the food arrangements on their own.
  10. Director, ICAR-NAARM reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies as per requirement.
  11. The decision of the Director, ICAR-NAARM / Principal Investigator of the project will be final and binding in all aspects.

Emoluments  – Rs. 35,000/- (Fixed) per month

Essential Qualification –

  • Graduate with at least 60% marks in Computer Science with one year experience in the relevant field.
  • Masters in Computer Application / Information Technology / Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence / Operating System / Software Engineering / Computer Graphics / Bioinformatics / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry

Desirable Qualifications for Latest Biotech Bioinformatics job – Experience in computer programming knowledge in Python / PEARL / R languages and computational biology along with Knowledge on database management and knowledge on Bioinformatics tools.
