ICAR-IARI Bioinformatics Officer Job – Applications Invited. Zonal Technology Management & Business Planning and Development Unit ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi is conducting an offline interview.Bioinformatics graduates apply for an interview at ICAR.

Terms and conditions:
- The maximum age will be 45 years.
- Candidate shall produce a No objection and an experience certificate from the employer in case he/she is employed at the time of interview.
- The above position is purely on contract basis for a period up to 31th March, 2024 or period till termination of the project whichever is earlier.
- Selected candidate will not be entitled to claim for regular appointments/absorption either in this institute or in ICAR. Non-maintenance of the discipline and failure to perform the assigned duties will make liable for termination during the appointment period as per ICAR rules.

The candidate will have to compulsorily fill to the application form (as per the format annexed), CV, Scanned copies of all the original Documents/certificates from matriculation onwards degree certificate & experience (Self Attested). Emoluments(fixed): Rs. 50,000/pm
Essential Qualification: Professional with M.Sc./M.Tec/ ME/MS in Bioinformatics or equivalent Master degree in Bioinformatics from UGC recognized institute/ universities with minimum 2 years of experience preferably in Bioinformatics, Design and analysis of algorithms, Web-based programming, Structural bioinformatics, Quantitative techniques, Numerical and biostatistical methods.

Answer: One of the projects I worked on involved analyzing next-generation sequencing data to identify genetic variants associated with a specific disease. Answer: During my previous role, I developed algorithms to predict protein structure and function. Answer: I regularly follow scientific journals, attend conferences, and participate in online forums and communities dedicated to Bioinformatics.
