Position:

Name of the project: Harmonization of COVID-19 Rt-PCR kits efficiency data towards enhancing their specificity and sensitivity for different strains of SARS-CoV-2

Details:

• Place: National Institute of Biologicals (NIB), Noida, U.P.
• Duration: 1.5 Years (This service is coterminous with the project and is purely contractual in nature)

No. of Post: 01

Salary: Rs. 31,000/- pm fixed

Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Life Science/Biotechnology from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks secured.

Desirable Qualification:

• Hands-on experience in nucleic acid extraction and PCR, primer designing, NGS, sequencing etc.
• One publication in International, peer-reviewed, Scopus indexed.
• Fluency in English and Microsoft Office knowledge.

Age Limit: Maximum

General Instructions:

• The contract period can be terminated by giving one month’s notice or without assigning any reason.
• The Competent Authority reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.
• The contract appointment is purely temporary in nature and any changes in the post or whole project can be made without assigning any reason.
• The appointed candidate shall not have any claim for regular appointment on the post.
