Job Description
As a Junior Team Member – Microbiology, you will be responsible for executing the analysis of allocated samples and producing reliable and reproducible results. Your work will ensure compliance with microbiological quality parameters and predefined specifications and standards.
Accountabilities
I. Analyse and Review Samples:
- Handle allocated samples efficiently and meet the service level agreement
II. Report Errors and Abnormal Observations:
- Identify and report any errors, abnormal observations, and non-compliances related to procedures, equipment, and instruments
- Deliver results promptly to facilitate timely action and prevent delays in releases
III. Document Entries and Findings:
- Ensure accurate documentation of entries, raw data, and findings in relevant test data sheets
- Facilitate review by the lab QA and avoid missed entries
IV. Equipment Maintenance:
- Evaluate and document instrument/equipment breakdowns
- Suggest mechanisms to avoid future breakdowns
Qualifications
Education:
B.Sc / MSc in Microbiology
Relevant Work Experience:
0-2 years of experience in Microbiology
