Company Overview:

CSIR-IMTECH (Institute of Microbial Technology), a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate-I. The selected candidate will work on the CSIR- Integrated Skill Initiative: Phase- II project. CSIR-IMTECH is dedicated to excellence in the field of microbial science and offers a dynamic research environment for motivated individuals.

Essential Qualification: Ist class M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biological Sciences/ MVSc

Desirable:

Highly motivated candidates having one year of relevant research experience post qualifying degree. Hands-on expertise in animal handling, basic microbiological, molecular biology, biochemical, and cell culture techniques etc. In addition to research, candidates are required to assist in organizing Skill development Training Programs of the institute and have to provide hands-on training to participants. Candidates should have strong scientific writing and verbal skills.

Upper Age limit (years): 35

Monthly Emoluments: 

(i) Rs. 31,000/- +HRA to Scholars who are selected through a (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and

(ii) Rs. 25,000/- +HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above
