Project Title: The proposed study “Evaluation of the anticancer potential of deuterium depleted water on an experimental mouse model of carcinogen-induced oral and lung cancers” is part of the Heavy Water Board, DAE funded project entitled “Evaluation of the anticancer potential of deuterium depleted water on experimental model systems and clinical trial patients of human breast cancer.”
Duration of the Project: 2 Years
Educational Qualification:
MSc degree (2 years course only) in Life Science or related subjects (Biotechnology, Microbiology, Medical genetics, Lifesciences, Biochemistry, Zoology, etc.). Candidates with M.Sc. degree having a duration of the one-year course will not be considered. This post is for JRF (with minimum one year of experience) and SRF.Experience: Candidates with a minimum of one year of experience in following laboratory techniques/methods only should apply. One year of experience handling lab animals and molecular biology techniques, including western blotting and immunohistochemistry, is strongly required. Candidates should also be proficient in maintaining experimental records using EXCL / SPSS. Candidates familiar with DNA RNA extraction, ELISA, and PCRs (including qPCR) will be given preference.
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 36,400/- per month.
