Candidates are invited to
appear before the selection committee in the online interview for filling up the purely temporary position in the scheme of “Short-Term Research Fellowship” programme, under the supervision of Dr. Shailesh Kumar, Scientist, NIPGR. The details of the position are as under:Name of Position: Project Associate-I (PA-I)

How to Apply:
The Fellowship amount for the above position is at par with the similar fellowships by DBT/DST. The above position is completely on temporary basis with a maximum duration of three years. The initial appointment will be for a period of one year, which can be curtailed or extended based on the performance of the candidate and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Reservation of posts shall be as per Govt. of India norms. The position may be terminated any time by giving a month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any regular position of NIPGR.

Qualification: Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned in the DST-OM SR/S9/Z05/2019 dated July 2020 and having a M. Sc./M. Tech. degree (with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA) in Bioinformatics are eligible to appear for interview. If the candidate does not have master’s degree in bioinformatics, then M.Sc. and, at least six months research experience in the field of bioinformatics and data sciences will be required to shortlist the candidate for interview.
