Minimum Qualification: M.Sc. in biology/allied sciences

Desirable work experience: Research experience in cell biology and molecular biology techniques, and/or hands-on experience on model systems, specifically, the experimental

mouse is desirable. In addition to this, the applicant with proficiency in basic IT skill set, experience in report writing, upkeep of laboratory equipment and maintenance of their log books, and purchase indents would be given preference.

3. Question: Could you describe your proficiency in basic IT skills and report writing? Answer: Certainly. I am proficient in using common software tools like Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis, creating presentations, and writing reports. I have effectively documented experimental protocols, results, and observations in a clear and organized manner.
4. Question: How have you managed laboratory equipment upkeep and maintenance in your previous roles? Answer: In my previous positions, I have been responsible for regular maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality. I’ve maintained detailed logbooks to track equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting steps. This approach has helped ensure smooth laboratory operations.
5. Question: Can you provide an example of a situation where you had to handle purchase indents or manage inventory? Answer: Of course. In my previous role, I was responsible for managing the inventory of consumables and reagents. I regularly assessed stock levels, created purchase indents based on need, and coordinated with procurement to ensure timely replenishment. This proactive approach helped streamline laboratory operations and avoid disruptions.
