It was established in 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (renamed Ministry of Education in August 2020). Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune invites applications from Indian nationals for the following post purely on temporary and contractual basis:

Tenure of the appointment: Initially for

a period of one year extendable for further period subject to continuation of the project and satisfactory performance of the incumbent.

Minimum Educational Qualification: M.Sc. / B.Tech in Computer science / Biotechnology / Life sciences or related discipline.

Preference: Candidates having knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C++ with experience in developing scientific software’s will be preferred.

Job requirements: The incumbent will have to interact with researchers in
structural biology, implement algorithms, set up and maintain databases and web servers. Components of systems administration.

Consolidated emoluments per month: Rs. 25,002/- + 24% House Rent Allowance
