Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to join our esteemed CBSE school in Vijayawada. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Biology to students from grades 9 to 12, preparing engaging lessons as per CBSE guidelines, and stimulating interest in the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, deliver, and facilitate engaging Biology lessons to students of grades 9 to 12 in line with the CBSE curriculum.
- Supervise and assist students during laboratory work.
- Evaluate and record students’ progress, providing grades and feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Stay updated with changes and developments in the CBSE curriculum.
- Collaborate with other educators for interdisciplinary lessons.
- Participate in school activities beyond regular school hours, including extracurricular activities and school events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Master’s degree or B.Ed in Biology is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience as a Biology Teacher in a CBSE school.
Comprehensive knowledge of the CBSE curriculum for Biology for grades 9 to 12. - Demonstrated success in improving student learning and achievement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
Other Requirements:
The candidate must be willing to relocate to Vijayawada if not currently residing in the area.
Ability to maintain a well-disciplined classroom while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
