Advertisement for a contractual position under PMFME Scheme
NIFTEM, Kundli invites applications for various positions purely on Contract Basis in Project Management Unit under the PMFME Scheme of the Government of India. Details of the Positions with Qualifications, Specialisations & Desirable qualifications etc. are as under:
Post I
Name of the Post – Young Professional (Technical)
No. of Vacancies – 01
Age: 35 year max
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support the Manager and Lead Project Manager in co-ordination and knowledge management.
- Preparation of course material for training modules and DPR preparation(Technical Aspect).
- Young Professionals will be required to provide their input in disciplines like Food technology/ Agri business;
- To work on special tasks related to implementation of project as and when conveyed by MoFPI or the PMU(in accordance with the approval of MoFPI)
- Development/editing of module – content for beneficiary as per requirement.
- Support the PMU in all day to day tasks especially in data synthesis, preparation of power point presentation and reports.
- Any other work assigned by the competent authority.
Qualification: Degree in Agriculture/Agricultural Engineering/ Chemical Engineering with Food Technology/Food Science & Technology/Fruit Technology / Food Engineering/Business Administration / Food Processing Technology or equivalent and should have good working knowledge of computers.
Preferably: Masters Degree in Food & Allied Sector.
Experience: Minimum 3 years post qualification experience of which, 2 years in reputed food industry and 1 year in Technical Writing/Content Development.
Remuneration – Rs. 60,000/-

Name of the Post – Young Professional (Content Writer)
No. of Vacancies – 01
Age: 38 year max
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Content developed under PMFME Scheme on different ODOPS (One district one Product) need to be revised, customized, rewrite and upgraded to ensure that the lessons communicated through the modules meets the requirement of intended target group.
- Support the PMU in all day today tasks especially in data synthesis, preparation of power point presentation and Reports.
- Any other work assigned by the Competent Authority.
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Food Technology/ Food Engineering.
Desirable: Work Experience in the reputed Food Industry.
Experience: At least 01-year experience of development of Course Content and Learning material.
Remuneration – Rs. 35,000/-

For instance, during a time-sensitive project, I focused on essential tasks first, ensuring that critical milestones were met without compromising quality.
- How do you stay updated with the latest developments in the food and allied sector? Share any instances where your knowledge of industry advancements contributed to the success of a project. Answer: As someone passionate about the food industry, I regularly attend seminars, workshops, and webinars related to food technology and allied sectors. My up-to-date knowledge has proven beneficial in a project where I suggested adopting a new food processing technique that significantly improved product quality and reduced production costs.
