Applications are invited from highly motivated Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow in an ICMR-funded research project with following details:

Title of the Project: “DHR-GIA Proposal: Developing a tamper proof sample packaging and sealing kit with an effective samples dryer technique and a handy device to seal the samples in a medicolegal case.
Principal Investigator: Dr. Raghvendra Kumar Vidua, Additional Professor, FMT, AIIMS, Bhopal, E-mail: [email protected].
Age limit: Below 28 years (as on the last date of application). Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates will be applicable as per rule.
Tenure: Initially up to 3 MONTHS or remaining period of research project (whichever is lesser) as per the ICMR approval

Date and Time of Written Test/ Interview:
Depending upon number of applications received, the eligible candidates will be shortlisted for written test/interview/both. The shortlisted eligible candidates are supposed to report in the department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, 3rd floor Medical college building AIIMS Bhopal on 25th July 2023 (Tuesday) 10:00 am onwards for appearing in the interview or written exam or both with;
- Duly Filled Application Form
- Covering letter and detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) along with passport-size photographs(2No)
- Original and attested photocopies of all documents, certificates, degrees and marksheets(10th class onwards).
- Copies of certificates/testimonials/documents which the candidate may wish to bring to the knowledge of the selection committee.
Essential Qualifications: Postgraduate / MSc (Life sciences, Biometric Engineering) /postgraduate in professional course BE/ B.Tech./ M.Tech. (Mech. Eng.)/ MBBS/Candidates with NET / UGC/ CSIR fellowship will be preferred.
Desirable: Working experience in Forensics and Biomedical Engineering/Instrumentation with good knowledge of MS Office
Consolidated Salary: Rs 31000/- per month + 18%HRA

3.What is your approach to ensuring sample drying techniques are effective and reliable? Answer: To ensure effective and reliable sample drying techniques, I believe in a combination of scientific principles and practical considerations. I would utilize innovative drying methods such as freeze-drying or desiccation, depending on the nature of the samples. Additionally, I would prioritize the development of a handy device that can provide controlled drying conditions while minimizing the risk of sample contamination.
4.How do you plan to contribute to the research project as a Junior Research Fellow? Answer: As a Junior Research Fellow, my primary goal is to contribute to the project’s objectives by leveraging my academic background and research skills. I will actively participate in data collection, analysis, and interpretation. I am proficient in utilizing various analytical tools and software, which will aid in conducting experiments and analyzing the results. Moreover, I will collaborate with the project team to ensure the smooth execution of the research plan.
5.How do you prioritize your work and manage deadlines in a research project setting? Answer: In a research project setting, I prioritize my work by breaking down tasks into smaller, manageable components. I create a detailed timeline that outlines the tasks, their deadlines, and dependencies. This helps me allocate time efficiently and ensure timely completion of different project milestones. Additionally, I regularly communicate with the project team to stay updated on progress and address any challenges or adjustments that may arise.
