  • Developing Capillary electrophoresis  and Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry Methods for Pharma, Food and Beverages, & Forensic applications.
  • Plan, develop and deliver laboratory protocols for various LC/MS methods for bioanalytical applications, Food residue analysis etc.
  • Provides timely phone, email, and remote technical support to customers, FSEs, and other customer facing associates.  Offers intuitive solutions to customer instrument problems by identifying, analyzing, and solving complex hardware, software and/or application related issues.
  • Partners closely with cross functional teams:  Customer Care Center, Application Technical Support, Field Service, Field Applications, Global Service Support, and Sales to process/resolve support requests on technical aspects.
  • Prepare and/or deliver technical presentations and workflow demonstrations
  • Prepare technical documents for publication in Sciex Application notes and peer review journals.
  • Generate IP for the organization based on research done on CE/Sciex Mass Spectrometry platforms
  • Support the smooth running of the Method development laboratory at the Sciex – Centre of Excellence in Bangalore

Experience:

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Minimum 5 + yrs. work experience using and/ or servicing CE-Capillary Electrophoresis theory and instrumentation (ideally on Beckman/Sciex instruments and 32 Karat software), HPLC,  and LC MS shall be preferred. Working knowledge of Chromatographic Data System, such as Empower is desirable.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with relevant software programs (Sales Force, Microsoft Suite). Strong time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work.   Preferable to have hands on experience related to other instrumentation and techniques in LC-MS workflows.
  • Global and Regional Application Support teams
  • Flexibility to travel frequently at short notice
  • Good verbal and written English language communication skills.
  • Experience with personal computer, e-mail, and Microsoft Office programs.

Education

  • M.Sc in Analytical Science, Biochemistry, M.Tech in Biotechnology, M. Pharma/ M. Sc (> 5 year of industry experience) / Ph.D. in Pharmacy or Life Sciences (>3 years of experience)
