Guidelines for Summer Training & Dissertation at NIPER Raebareli

NIPER, Raebareli is offering Summer Training & Dissertation in the following departments:

1. Medicinal Chemistry
2. Pharmaceutics
3. Pharmacology & Toxicology
4. Regulatory Toxicology
5. Biotechnology

The Summer Training will be imparted in all above mentioned departments for the students belonging to the various pharmacy institutes, University departments, and colleges during themonths of June and July every year. Dissertation will be opened throughout the year.

Proposed duration of Summer Training – 06 weeks (June 01, 2023 to July 14, 2023)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Students who are pursuing their graduation/post-graduation and have finished their 1st year of graduation/post-graduation in the field of Pharmaceutical/Chemical/Life Sciences from any one recognized Indian University.
2. Letter of endorsement/ recommendation from their respective Institute/ College/ University or Head of the Department is mandatory.

Fees Details:

Fees of Summer Training: Rs. 7,000/- for 6 weeks duration
Fees for Dissertation: Rs. 5,000/- per month

Important dates for Summer Training & Dissertation:

1. Last date for submission of CV and filled in application – May 12th, 2023
2. Selected candidates shall be informed by email – May 19th, 2023
3. Date for depositing the fees – May 22nd – 26th, 2023
4. Commencement of Programme – June 01st, 2023

Candidates can submit their CV along with duly filled application form on below mentioned Email Id of the concerned Coordinators. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through email to deposit the requisite fees.

The candidates will be required to submit the transaction receipt of the fee payment for the purpose of verification by the concerned section.

Instructions to Candidates

1. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence or otherwise will be treated as disqualification. All the candidates selected for hands-on training should spend the whole period in NIPER-R Transit Campus, Lucknow without break.
2. The accommodation is not available at NIPER-R Lucknow campus therefore the candidates have to arrange the accommodation on their own during the training period.
3. The fee will not be refunded under any circumstances, nor would this fee be held in reserve for any future training.
4. In case, it is detected at any stage that a student does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information/certificate/documents or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her training are liable to be terminated. If any of these shortcomings is/are detected even afterselection for summer training, his/her training is liableto be terminated.
5. Under no circumstances, NIPER-R will be responsible for any miss happening/accident during the summer training tenure of the candidate.
6. The institute reserves the right to prepone/ postpone or cancel the hands-on training on account of technical or administrative exigencies or any other reasons.
7. The institute reserves the right to alter, modify or change the eligibility criteria and/or any of the other terms and conditions.
8. After completion of the hands-on training/ summer training or dissertation, the trainee has to submit his/her final report to the supervisor.
