Position: Project Associate-II = 01

Project titled – “Evaluation of Rationally Designed Influenza Vaccines”

Project Code – CLP-031

Upper Age limit (years) – 35

Monthly Emoluments: 

1. Rs. 35,000/- (consolidated) to Scholars who are selected through a (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions.
2. Rs. 28,000/- (consolidated) for others who do not fall under (i) above

Essential Qualification –

1. Master’s Degree in Natural or Agriculture Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and
2. Two Years experience in Research and Development in Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services.

Desirable – Candidates with experience in Pichia pastoris/fungal based protein expression.

   Answer: Yes, I have experience in working with Pichia pastoris and fungal-based protein expression systems. I have used these systems for the expression and purification of recombinant proteins.
3. What motivated you to apply for this position and work on the project titled “Evaluation of Rationally Designed Influenza Vaccines”?
   Answer: I am interested in vaccine development and believe that this project is an excellent opportunity to contribute to this field. I am excited about the prospect of working on a project that could potentially impact public health.
4. Can you describe your approach to solving research problems? How do you handle unexpected challenges that arise during the course of a project?
   Answer: I believe that the key to solving research problems is to be persistent and systematic in my approach. When unexpected challenges arise, I try to identify the root cause of the problem and then explore different solutions to overcome it. I am open to collaborating with my colleagues and seeking their input when necessary.
