Date and Time of Written Test/ Interview:
Depending upon a number of applications received candidates will be shortlisted for a written test/skill test Date, Time and Venue of the test would be intimated to the concerned candidates. When called, the candidates shall report for appearing in the interview and /or written exam with
- Duly Filled Application Form
- Covering letter and detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) along with passport-size photographs(2).
- Original and attested photocopies of all documents, certificates, degrees and mark sheets(Xth class onwards).
- Copies of certificates/testimonials/documents which the candidate may wish to bring to the knowledge of the selection committee.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- It is the candidates’ responsibility to ascertain and ensure their eligibility as per the prescribed qualification and experience. Any misinformation detected at any stage will make the candidate liable for legal action. Permission to appear in the selection process does not approve the eligibility of the candidate. Even after qualifying for the selection process, the candidate may be rendered disqualified at the time of document verification if he/ she does not fulfil essential eligibility criteria. Shortlisting of the candidates will be done on the basis of eligibility criteria and merit.
- Tenure: The assignment will be governed as per the rules/instructions received from the GIA-DHR /competent authority from time to time. This appointment will not vest any right to claim by the candidate for regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS Bhopal or GIA-DHR or for continued contractual appointment.
- Expiry of Contract: The contractual appointment can be terminated at any time by either side by giving 30 days’ notice or salary in lieu thereof.
- Leave: The leave entitlement of the appointee shall be governed in terms of the GIA-DHR leave policy governing extramural research projects as amended from time to time.
- Accommodation: No hostel or any other accommodation will be provided by the Institute / Principal Investigator.
- The candidate who is already in government service shall submit ‘No Objection Certificate” from the present employer at the time of walk-in-Interview
- The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.
- The candidate should bring along original certificates in support of his/her age, educational/ professional qualification, experience etc., two recent passport-size colour photographs and a one set of self-attested photocopies of the relevant documents failing which he/she will not be allowed to participate in the walk-inwritten test.
- The candidate applying in response to his advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding theireligibility in all respects.
- No travelling or other allowances will be paid to the candidate for appearing in written examinationor for joining the post.
- Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
- He / She can be posted at any place as per the requirement of the project including rural areas / field sites.
- He / She is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to the instituteemployees.
- The decision of the competent authority regarding the selection of the candidate will be final andno representation will be entertained in this regard.
- The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
- In case any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false of if the candidate has willfully suppressed any material information relevant to his appointment, he/she will be liable tobe removed from the service and any action taken as deemed fit by the appointing authority.

Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ with a minimum of 60% marks
Desirable: Hands-on experience in performing ELISA and good knowledge of MS Office.
Consolidated Salary: Rs 20,000/- per month + 18% HRA (Rs2300) = Rs. 23,600/-

- What is your experience in working with community settings for the screening of women for cervical cancer? Answer: I have experience working with community settings for cervical cancer screening. I have worked in a similar project where I provided technical assistance to the medical team that carried out the screening process. I was responsible for maintaining the screening equipment, data collection and documentation.
- What is your understanding of multiple biomarkers for the screening of cervical cancer? Answer: Multiple biomarkers are specific molecules found in blood, tissue or other fluids that can indicate the presence or absence of a particular disease. For cervical cancer screening, multiple biomarkers are used to identify the presence of Premalignant and malignant lesions of the cervix. These biomarkers may include HPV testing, P16INK4A, Ki-67, and others.
- What laboratory techniques are you proficient in? Answer: I am proficient in a range of laboratory techniques such as DNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, ELISA, and microscopy. I have hands-on experience in carrying out these techniques as part of my academic and professional training.
- How do you ensure the accuracy of your data during the screening process? Answer: To ensure accuracy during the screening process, I follow a standardized protocol for data collection and documentation. I also ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of the screening equipment, as well as the correct handling and storage of biological samples. I make sure that there is minimal variation in the procedures used during the screening process.
- Have you worked with statistical software before? Which one and how did you use it? Answer: Yes, I have worked with statistical software such as SPSS, R, and STATA. I have used them for data cleaning, data analysis, and for producing reports. In a previous project, I used SPSS to analyze data on cervical cancer screening and produce a report on the findings. I used descriptive and inferential statistics to draw conclusions and make recommendations for future research.
