NOTIFICATION
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the following posts on Contract Basis for a Government of Karnataka-funded project entitled “Karnataka Brain Health Initiative (Ka-BHI)” under Dr.Suvarna Alladi, Professor of Neurology and Principal Investigator and Dr. Girish N, Professor of Epidemiology, Co-Principal Investigator, NIMHANS, Bengaluru.
Post I
Name of the Post – Senior Research Fellow
No. of Posts – 02
Maximum Age limit – 45 Years
Duration of Employment – 3 months. Likely to be extended based on satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities – Writing scientific papers, data analysis, and data management. Will be involved in undertaking systematic reviews/meta-analyses.
Essential Qualification – First class, Master in any field of life sciences/ public health/
Sociology/Rural Development /Economics/Human Resources/Social Work/Psychology or equivalent. With at least one paper published as an author/co-author. Knowledge of
SPSS
Desirable Experience – Knowledge of qualitative research, literature review, and systematic reviews/ meta-analysis.
Salary – Rs. 35,000/- per month (consolidated)
Post II
Name of the Post – District Coordinator
No. of Posts – 05
Maximum Age limit – 45 Years
Duration of Employment – 3 months. Likely to be extended based on satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities – Involved in coordinating BHI activities between the respective PHCs/ nodal centres and NIMHANS, coordinating case studies, and Patient care at PHCs/ nodal centres and NIMHANS. Scheduling, documenting and reporting daily BHI activities within the assigned districts. documentation of daily activities on a dynamic basis
Essential Qualification – First class, Master in any field of life sciences/ public health/ Sociology/Rural Development/Economics/Human Resources / Social Work/Psychology or equivalent. The applicant should be conversant in writing and speaking the Kannada language
Desirable Experience – Experience in patient care activities. Experience in patient care activities, experience in the public health field in Kolar/ Chikkaballapur/ Bangalore.
Salary – Rs. 35,000/- per month (consolidated)
