ICMR Headquarters intends to fill up the following Non-institutional position purely on temporary contract basis for its short-term projects

Name of the Project – ICMR MYCONET Inpatient Clinical Registry: Establishment of an analytics platform

Age – Not exceeding 40 Years

Duration – 3 Years

How to Apply

Eligible candidates may submit the application form (copy attached) documents and CV online in the given mail id at [email protected] on or before 27th Jan 2023 up to 17:00 hours. Late/Delayed/Incomplete applications shall not be entertained and rejected straight away, without any reasons, communication or correspondence. Candidates are therefore advised to submit their application well in time along with the application form, CV and self-attested documents.

Candidature of successful candidates shall be subject to verification of all original documents by ICMR and fulfillment of required eligibility criteria, in all respects of qualification, age and experience, etc. Successful candidates will be informed through email about the interview.

Terms and conditions –

1. These positions are meant for temporary projects, for appointment purely on a temporary contract basis.
2. Age relaxation will be admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates, retrenched
   Government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects) and ex-servicemen etc. in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government/DoPT/ICMR from time to time. Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons. SC/ST/OBC will be given age relaxation in respect of the posts reserved for them only and not for UR posts.
3. The cut-off date for the age limit will be the last date for the submission of applications.
4. OBC category candidates must produce their latest Caste Validity Certificate. They must possess the latest non-creamy layer certificate, issued within three years. PWD candidates shall produce the latest disability certificate issued by a Medical Board of a Government hospital with not less than 40% disability.
5. The engagement of successful candidates on the project shall also be decided by the appointing authority at its discretion.
6. Qualification & experience should be in relevant discipline/field/trade and from an accredited/ reputed Institution. Experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
7. No TA/DA shall be paid, and candidates shall have to arrange for their transport/accommodation themselves.
8. ICMR reserves the right to consider or reject any application/candidature, without assigning any reason.
9. The candidate shall not have any claim on a regular post in ICMR or in any of its Institutes/Centers and their project term will not confer any right for further assignment or transfer to any other project or appointment/absorption in the funding agency or in ICMR. Benefits of the Provident Fund, Pension Scheme, Leave Travel Concession, Medical claim, Staff Quarters and other facilities, applicable to the regular staff of ICMR etc. are not admissible to the project manpower.
10. ICMR reserves the right to terminate the services of the selected candidate, even during the agreed contract period or extended contract, without assigning any reason.
11. While called for a test/interview or both, the candidate must submit a CV with a recent passport-size colour photograph and all relevant documents; duly self-attested; in proof of his/her educational qualifications [all certificates and mark sheets from 10th Std. onwards], working experience, age, caste(OBC Certificate) etc., failing which his/her candidature will not be considered.
12. ICMR reserves the right to cancel/modify the recruitment process, at any time, during the process, at its discretion.

Consolidated Remuneration – Rs. 51,000/- + HRA

Essential Qualifications – Candidates should possess 1st Class Master Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology from a recognized university with 4 years of experience
OR
2nd Class M.Sc + PhD degree in Microbiology/Laboratory Medicine/Mycology from a
recognized university with 4 years of experience.

Desirable

• At least one year  of work experience in the field of Mycology AND/OR Government (Grant-in-Aid) Project Management
• Experience in working with Govt. sector handling e-office files/reporting/documenting etc.
• Knowledge of Computer applications or Statistical Tools/Data Management.
• At least 2 Publications as primary Authors.
