WALK-IN INTERVIEW FOR RECRUITMENT OF POSITIONS
FOR FIVE PROJECT ASSISTANTS

Applications are invited by the undersigned from the eligible candidates for five posts of PROJECT ASSISTANTS in the following research projects funded by the Central Silk Board and the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
Title of the projects:
- Life Cycle Assessment of Mulberry Silk: A National Assessment (PA1)
- Improvement of seed crop productivity in West Bengal (PA2)
- All India Coordinated Experimental Trial for Mulberry (AICEM-IV) (PA3 & PA4)
- Seri-entrepreneurship development in north eastern India (DBT project) (PA5)

Essential qualifications: Pass in Bachelor Degree (B.Sc. / B.Sc. Honours) in Agriculture/Sericulture/Life Sciences/Zoology/Botany from a UGC- recognized University with 60% marks for general candidates and 50% for SC/ST candidatesDesirable qualifications: PG Diploma in Sericulture. Preference will be given to the candidates having working experience in Mulberry Sericulture, working knowledge in operating MS word, Excel, Power point etc. |
Consolidated pay of Rs.15000/- per month for candidates with full time B.Sc. Degree. or Consolidated pay of Rs.20000/- per month for candidates with full time B.Sc. Degree and PG Diploma in Sericulture. |

Important points:
- Date of walk-in-interview: 25.01.2023
- Time: 10.00 AM onwards (candidates should reach the venue by 9.30 AM for verification of documents).
- Entry of candidates will be permitted only till 12 Noon.
- Venue: Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute, Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, Berhampur – 742 101, District – Murshidabad, West Bengal, India (Landmark: Backside of Berhampur court railway station).
- Upper Age Limit: 30 years for project assistants as of the day of notification. Relaxation of five years for SC/ST, women, physically handicapped and OBC candidates as per rules.
- No TA/DA will be provided to attend the interview.
- The above-mentioned position is purely temporary on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. Further claims for any post will not be entertained thereafter.
