Essential Qualifications Candidates must be holders of M.Sc./M. Tech or equivalent in Biotechnology/ Life Science / Biology/ Microbiology /Medical Biochemistry / Biochemistry/Analytical Chemistry OR B. Tech degree in Biotechnology/Technology in a relevant branch from a recognized University and equivalent
Desirable Qualifications
- Ability and strong interest in biomedical sciences
- Good knowledge of fundamentals in analytical chemistry, Biosensors, onchip, and paper-based devices development
- Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in data analysis and software/app
development - Excellent communication and time-management
- Capable of fieldwork analysis
- Candidates with prior experience working in these domains would be given
preference.
Age Limit Not more than 35 years as on 15-01-2023.
Salary/Emoluments (i) 31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through:
(a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC
NET including Lectureship (AssistantProfessorship) or GATE
(b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central
Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions
(ii) 25,000/- + HRA for others who don’t fall under (i) above

India Rules.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MNR SERB Hiring Biotechnology:
1. The appointed candidate will be placed at the MNR Foundation for Research & Innovations, MNR Medical College & Hospital, MNR University, Fasalwadi.
2. Initially, six months (purely temporary) can be extended to further up to another one year based on satisfactory performance.
3. The contract will also include a two-month notice period, wherein if the candidate selected wants to discontinue the project he/she will have to inform the PI two months in advance.
4. The candidates selected for the interview will be informed via email by Dr. Shahila Parween or would be posted on the institute webpage.
5. In case of any unavoidable circumstances, the interview date might be changed, which shall be notified through email.
