The Institute invites applications for the following positions on a contract basis:
Job Title: Laboratory Assistant
Project Title: Defining lysosomal mechanisms of defense against intracellular pathogens
Funding agency DST-SERB (Department of Science and Technology, Science and Engineering Research Board, New Delhi, India
Minimum Educational Qualification: (as prescribed by the funding agency) B.Sc./ 3 years Diploma in Engineering & Technology in any field of Biological Sciences
Preference: Candidates with at least one year of experimental research experience in one of the relevant areas (biochemistry, microscopy, microbiology, genetics, molecular biology, and/or immunology) and /or a Master’s degree are preferred. The motivation to establish a bacterial culture and microscopy workflow in the lab is highly desirable.
Number of posts: 1
Fellowship: amount Rs. 20000 + HRA, as applicable
Tenure of the post: 1 year
Age Upper limit 50 years, preferably below 35 years
