About: National Center for Assistive Health Technology (NCAHT) is an ICMR-funded collaborative project of AIIMS, New Delhi and IIT Delhi with a mandate for landscape research and innovation in Assistive Health Technologies.
Posts: Senior Research Fellows (SRF’s), Up to 10 positions at NCAHT, AIIMS, New Delhi
Description: SRF’s will be recruited either as Innovation Fellows or Research Fellows based on their credentials and preference.
Innovation Fellows: Will work closely with faculty at AIIMS, in multidisciplinary teams to identify, conceptualize and develop novel assistive technologies. NCAHT is looking for candidates with an entrepreneurial inclination and a commitment to bringing
their innovations into clinical use. NCAHT will provide technical and clinical support for the development of these technologies.
Research Fellows: Will undertake primary and secondary landscape research in the field of assistive technology and
disability rehabilitation, and identify
assistive technologies and their integration into the clinical workflow. NCAHT will provide support for accomplishing these
research objectives.
Duration: One year; starting from February 2023 (Full Time)
Age limit: Up to 35 years (as on 01 February 2023)

Eligibility: Candidates with
- MSc. (Life Sciences)/ MA (Social Sciences)/ Master in Medical Social Work (MSW) degree holders with 2 years of experience OR
- MBBS/ BDS/ M.VSc./ M Pharma / ME/ M Tech degree holders OR
- MPH/ MPT/ MOT/ MPO/ M Des or equivalent post-graduate degree in a subject relevant to assistive health technology or disability rehabilitation OR
- BE/ B Tech/ BPT/ BOT/ BPO/ B Des or equivalent bachelor’s degree in a subject relevant to assistive health technology or disability rehabilitation.
Experience: one year after a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
Candidates with experience related to assistive health technology/ medical devices/ health technology innovation will be given
preference.
Emoluments: Rs. 35,000 per month + 27% HRA (as per ICMR guidelines)
