Indian nationals are invited for an Interview on 10/01/2023 for the temporary position of Senior Project Associate under the project Basic Research in Physics & Multidisciplinary Sciences (RIN4001) in the Center for Interdisciplinary Sciences (CIS), NISER, Bhubaneswar funded by the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India.

Age – 40 years as of the date of interview, age relaxation to entitled categories as per rules
Tenure – The above position is purely temporary for a period of one year or completion of the project, whichever is earlier and strictly co-terminus with the project. The
tenure for the project staff is initially for a period of One year & consequently upon successful completion it will get further extended. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for consideration/absorption against any NISER post.How to Apply –

Monthly Emoluments – Rs.42,000/- plus HRA as per rules
QUALIFICATION –
- Master’s Degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology from a recognized university or equivalent + 4 years of experience.
OR - PhD in Physics/Chemistry/Biology.
Essential Experience:
Four years of Post-MSc hands-on experience with equipment such as Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)/ Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)/ Mass Spectroscopy. Experience in management in central instrumentation facilities or centres where multi-users from various disciplines work.
