Applications are invited for the position of two Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the CSIR (Govt. of India) sponsored project under the guidance of Dr. Sanghamitra Dey (Principal Investigator), Department of Life Sciences, Presidency University, Kolkata.

Essential Qualification: The candidate must have a good academic record with first class throughout and a Master’s degree in any branch of Life Science from a recognized University and have qualified UGC/CSIR/DBT/ICMR NET (LS or with their own fellowship).
Desirable Qualification: Research experience in Molecular biology, Protein Biochemistry, chemistry knowledge and computational skills is a plus.
Fellowship:
- Rs. 31,000 per month for two years and 34,000 per month for the third year. The appointment will be subjected to an annual review for a further extension that will be granted based on the research progress. The post is purely temporary and subject to the availability of funds.
