Eligible and interested candidates are invited for a walk-in-interviews to be held at Nutrihub, ICAR – Indian Institute of Millets Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, on 30th November 2022 from 10:00 A.M. onwards for recruitment of the following positions as per the details given below.
Post I
Job Title: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
No.of posts: One position
Project: NAIF-ZTMC
Emoluments: Rs. 31,000 + HRA (HRA as per ICAR rules)
Eligibility:
Essential qualifications: Master’s degree in the Food process engineering/ Mechanical
Engineering/ Agricultural and Process Engineering/ Food Technology/ Food Sciences and
Nutrition/ Food Chemistry and allied fields. Candidates having Post Graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Master’s degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience.
Desirable:
- Experience in FMCG/ Food Sector, basic knowledge of cereals processing machinery, working knowledge on designing machinery/ modification using software like Auto CAD/ solid works post-harvest machinery, primary processing machinery, also able to handle lab equipment, ability to analyze statistical data and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in English, and sufficient knowledge of MS Office and computer usage.
- Willing to travel.

Job Title: Research Executive

Project: APEDA
Emoluments: Rs.35000/- (Consolidated
Eligibility:
Essential qualifications: Master’s degree in Food Chemistry or Biochemistry/ Agrl. Biotechnology/ Instrumentation and allied fields. Candidates with a Postgraduate degree in Basic sciences.
Desirable: Experience in handling and maintenance of lab equipment and instrumentation, process standardization, food analysis, data compilation and analysis. Able to resolve basic problems at the lab.

- The above posts are purely temporary and on a contractual basis till the expiry of the project.
- The age limit of the above position is up to 35 years for men and 40 years for women as of the date of the interview. (Age can be relaxed up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules)
- For the post of Assistant Business Manager (S.No-3) under the RKVY-RAFTAAR project, the age limit is 40 years for both men and women. (age relaxation of 5 years is allowed for exceptional cases)
- The candidates shall send filled-in Applications in the proforma enclosed along with a passport-size photograph and a set of self-attested copies of the requisite mark sheet, certificates and supporting documents to the below-given mail id.
- Candidates have to produce all the original certificates at the time of interview for verifications.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Report for registration from 09:30 AM on the date of the interview, candidate need to wait till they are called/allowed to the meeting for the interview as per the list.
- The decision of the Director, ICAR-IIMR is final and binding in all respects.
- The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment/absorption in ICAR-IIMR, Hyderabad or funding agency at the end of the project.
