TCMR Intends to engage following Non-Institutional project human resource positions, purely on a temporary contract basis under the Project titled “Epidemiology of pancreatitis and major gastrointestinal disease: A multi Centre study across India” being undertaken at the Division of NCD, Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi.

Name of the Post – Scientist-/Scientist -B (Nonmedical)

No. of Posts – One (UR)

Max Age Limit – Not exceeding 35 years

The shortlisted Candidate list will be published on ICMR Website. There will be no separate individual communication. The interview of short-listed candidates will be held through video conferencing.

Terms and Conditions 

1. The engagement is for 6 months and further extension may be considered on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance and requirements.
2. Age relaxation is admissible as per Govt. of India/ICMR Norms. No age relaxation will be considered for the unreserved posts.
3. Experience shall be counted from the date of completion of the minimum essential educational qualification.
4. The Council reserves the right to increase/ decrease the number of vacancies as per requirement and reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up any of the vacancies in view of work requirements.
5. No benefit of provident fund, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. will be considered, since the posts are purely temporary basis.
6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview/personal discussion.
7. The above posts are filled-up on a purely temporary basis and contractual basis & the candidate will have no right to claim any type of Permanent Employment under, ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.

Essential Qualifications –

• Candidates should possess 1st Class Master Degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university with 2 years of experience OR
• 2nd Class M.Sc + PhD relevant subject from a recognized university or BDS/B.V.Sc degree with one-year experience university.

Desirable Qualification :

1. Experience in clinical research as evidenced by publications.
2. Good Communication and writing skills, documents.
3. Knowledge of computer applications, clinical trial regulation and networking.

Consolidated Emoluments per month – Rs @ 48,000/- + Rs .6300 (30%HRA) = Rs. 54,300/- per month
