Applications are invited for the post of project assistant to work on the research project entitled “Characterization of the role of a Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae secreted virulence factor CbsA in the induction of rice immune responses” sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology at Centre for Plant Molecular Biology, Osmania University, Hyderabad.

obtainable from the Osmania University press along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) drawn in favour of the Registrar, Osmania University, Hyderabad – 500 007.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. The post is pure of temporary nature and is not an appointment at the University. Eligibility: M.Sc. Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Genetics with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent COPA from any UGC-recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates who have at least 1-2 years of lab experience in the areas of Biochemistry and Molecular biology. Experience in rice tissue culture techniques is desirable.
Salary/Fellowship: Rs 20,000 per month consolidated
