Applications are invited from eligible candidates to attend interviews through hybrid mode (Online or Offline) for the temporary position of Junior Research Fellow. Eligible candidates may attend the interview on dated 24 September 2022 as per the scheduled time displayed on the institute’s website.

Name of the Project – “Marker assisted introgression of seed weight, early maturity and photoperiod response genes in a multiple stress tolerant climate smart soybean variety JS 97-52 and KTI free variety NRC 127”.
Duration – Up to 09 January 2025 or as per Project validity, whichever is applicable.
Age Limit – Maximum: Men: 35 Women 40 years
Emoluments – Rs.31000+18% HRA PM for 1st and 2nd Year and [email protected]+18% HRA PM
for 3rd Year as per guidelines of DST, New Delhi.Essential Qualification – Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science/Life Science/Plant Science/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Plant Biotechnology with valid NET from CSIR/UGC/ ICAR, BET and GATE.
Desirable Qualification – Experience in molecular breeding with Laboratory work.
Terms & Conditions:
- The above posts are purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project. Appointments will be based on performance and fund availability.
- The selected candidates will be required to produce all the original documents and medical certificates at the time of joining.
- The candidates are instructed to send emails: to [email protected] up to 21 September 2022 with the prescribed application form and self-attested documents in single PDF format as required. No extra documents other than essential and desirable qualifications will be sent.
- Original documents will be verified at the time of the Interview/appointment. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at a later stage, their candidature will be summarily rejected.
- The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the institute’s website before the date of the interview. Only the shortlisted candidates will participate in an interview through hybrid mode i.e, either online or offline as per your choice (Choose only one mode).
- Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of such candidates.
- The Director, ICAR-IISR, Indore or PI of the Project has the right to terminate of engagement of JRF/ YPs at any time without assigning reason thereof.
- No Objection Certificate from the present employer is a must if the candidate is already working.
- Emoluments will be fixed as per the guidelines of funding agencies from time to time.
- The number of posts indicated is tentative, which may be increased or decreased at a later stage as per the Director’s discretion.
- The decision of the Director/ PI of the Project would be final and binding in all aspects.
