Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal invites applications from highly motivated Indian nationals for the positions of One Research Officer, One Junior Research Fellow and one Laboratory Attendant in a DBT-funded project with the following details –
Name of the Project – “Comprehensive OMICS studies to understand the biology of drug resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis clinical isolates from Arunachal Pradesh”
Name of the Principal Investigator – Prof Sarman Singh, Adjunct Professor, Department of Biological Sciences, IISER Bhopal.

Name of the Post – Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualifications – 1st Class M.Sc. course (only regular) in Bioinformatics or equivalent subject from the reputed university.
Experience – Three years of experience in Biological Sciences/Wet Lab or PhD in related
field.
Desirable – Experience in NGS/Genome analysis
Salary – Rs. 55000/month (Consolidated)
For Post II
Essential Qualifications – M.Sc. course with 55% or above (only regular) in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or equivalent from a recognized university.
Desirable Experience – One year of hands-on laboratory experience on TB work.
Salary –
- Rs. 31000+HRA (16%) with NET/GATE
- Rs. 25000+HRA (16%) without NET/GATE
