Job Profile –

Method Verification of Escherichia coli, Coliform, Faecal streptococci and Staphylococcus aureus, Sulphite reducing anaerobes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Aerobic Microbial Count, Yeast and mould, Salmonella and Shigella, Vibrio cholera and V. parahaemolyticus. Performing routine microbiological methods and techniques, identify, analyze, study and monitor microbes, especially in food, water and agricultural produces. Handling and supervising the functioning of the microbiology laboratory independently.

Experience – 2 – 3 years

Qualification – MSc in Microbiology / Food Microbiology

Skills –

• Regulatory Standards applicable in the food & water testing such as IS 14543, FSSAI, IS 10500.
• Awareness of standard guidelines of FSSAI, BIS, NABL, IS/ISO/IEC 17025: 2017, GLPs, USEPA, APHA, FDA, APEDA, EIC etc.
