Online interview
Applications are invited to attend an Online Interview on 12.07.2022 in NASF (ICAR)-funded project at the Division of Plant Pathology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi-12, as mentioned below. The posts are a purely on contractual basis.
Owing to the prevailing COVID-19 crisis, the eligible candidates are requested to send their

Terms and Conditions –
- AGE: The upper age limit is 35 years; relaxation to Women/SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman as per the Govt. of India instructions.
- Only Indian citizens are eligible for appearing in the interview
- No objection and experience certificate from the employer in case he/she is in employment.
- The candidates will have to compulsorily fill out the application form as per the format (Annexure I) and need to be submitted along with attested copies of certificates as required in a single PDF. Affix an attested recent passport size photograph in the Bio-data. Proof of experience and publications also need to be enclosed. The bio-data should contain academic qualifications starting from 10th Standard to the maximum qualification with % marks obtained, distinction/medal if any. If the candidates do not fill the marks and relevant attested certificates, the academic score will not be awarded. The application along with all the documents should be sent by email ([email protected]) in a single PDF file. Applications if not found in proper format along with desired documents may likely be rejected.
- The selected candidate will be required to produce all the original documents and medical certificates at the time of joining.
- Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the online interview.
- Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.
- If the candidate’s near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, and relationship as per the declaration form (Annexure-II). Non-declaration may lead to disqualification.
- In case of any disputes, they will be resolved in the jurisdiction of the New Delhi court only.
- The decision of the Competent Authority will be final and binding in all respects.
For Post I
Emoluments – Rs. 31000/- per month + HRA* for 1st and 2nd & Rs. 35,000/- per month + HRA* for 3rd year.
Essential – Master’s degree in Life Sciences/Zoology/ Botany/ Biotechnology/ Entomology/ Plant Pathology or related fields of plant sciences with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s Degree. Candidates having a Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Master’s degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No. Edn. J6/27/2014/HRD dated 13 July 2015, OM No. Agril. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD 9th October 2015 of the Council and OM SR/S9/Z09/2018 of DST dated 30 January 2019.
Desirable – Experience in molecular cloning, and handling insects and plant viruses.
For Post II
Emoluments – Rs. 35000/ per month (Consolidated)
Essential – Postgraduates in Life Sciences/Zoology/ Botany/ Biotechnology/ Entomology/ Plant Pathology or related fields of plant sciences.
Desirable – Experience in handling insects, plant viruses, and PCR-based genotyping.
