Walk-in-Interview will be held on June 17, 2022, at 12:00 noon in the Seminar Room of
Division of Plant Biology, Unified Academy Campus, Bose Institute, Block – EN, Sector – V, Plot No.-80, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700 091 for one (01) position of Project Associate-I in the SERB sponsored project entitled “Convergent miRNA actions in coordination of stress-response to Alternaria solani infection in tomato lines” under the guidance of Prof. Pallob Kundu, Division of Plant Biology. The project is tenable up to 05.01.2023 and the position is coterminous with the project. Details of qualification, monthly Emoluments, age etc. are as follows –

Interested and eligible candidates are requested to appear before the Selection Committee
with the typed application stating Advertisement No. and Position addressed to the Registrar (Officiating), Bose Institute, Block – EN, Sector – V, Plot No.-80, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700 091 along with Bio-data giving e-mail ID, Phone No., details of qualification from Secondary onwards and stating the area of research experience. The candidate should also bring the photocopy and original of the Mark-sheets and Certificates from Secondary onwards along with experience certificates at the time of the Interview. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the interview.
Remuneration – Rs.31,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA.
Essential qualifications – Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification – M.Sc./M.Tech. in biological sciences or technology along with at
least three years of proven research experience in a research laboratory or facility of a Govt. Institute/ Govt. Research Laboratory / Autonomous Institute / Recognized University / Nationally recognized research facility. Applicant must have a thorough knowledge of molecular biology, biotechnology and plant biology.
