Name of the Project – “Drug diffusion studies in Skin-on-a-Chip Devices: Numerical Simulations and Experiments”
About the Project – The project deals with the diffusion of drugs in skin-on-a-chip devices. This involves performing experiments with skin cells in microfluidic chips, and also Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations. Students with a background in Biomedical Engineering or B.Tech/MTech in Biotechnology or a relevant branch, if selected, will be involved only in the experimental study. Students with Mechanical/Chemical or relevant backgrounds, if selected, will be involved in CFD simulations.

Essential Qualification –
- B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Biotechnology
- Or any other relevant branch (with a valid GATE Score)
- M.E/M.Tech or equivalent degree in Biotechnology
Desirable Qualification – Biomedical Engineering/Biotechnology or relevant branch – Knowledge/working experience in Tissue/Cell Culture.
Fellowship – Rs. 31,000/month + HRA, as per rules, for a duration of 3 Years
