Job Title – Junior Research Fellow

Tenure: 6 months (extendable)
Place of work: ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad
Application Instructions –
Highly motivated and eligible candidates are invited to apply for the JRF position (Leading
to Ph.D.) at the ICMR-National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad. Interested candidates
may download the application form from www.nin.res.in and fill in his/her own handwriting, may send it to the Principal Investigator, Dr.Gargi Meur by email ([email protected]) along with the soft copies of certificates of educational qualifications and JRF certificate in the PDF format. The last date for receiving applications is 25-05-2022. Short-listed candidates will be called for a personal interview/ discussion with the Principal Investigator/ Academic Council of NIN.
The candidates should bring all originals certificates of educational qualifications, ICMR/ CSIR/DBT /-NET JRF-fellowship qualified letter
and Community Certificate along with a set of photocopies of the same duly self-attested and latest passport size photo and complete bio-data while attending the personal discussion/interview. No TA/DA will be paid for this purpose.General Conditions – ICMR/CSIR/ DBT Fellowship Rules are applicable for the above JRF position. The selected candidate will have no right to claim any regular employment at this Institute.
Stipend – As per rules of ICMR / CSIR / DBT / UGC.
Essential Qualifications – 1st Class M.Sc. in Biochemistry /Biotechnology /Microbiology /Nutrition/M.Sc Applied Nutrition/Home Science (from a recognized University) qualified with ICMR/CSIR/UGC/ DBT-NET JRF EXAM WITH JRF FELLOWSHIP ONLY. CANDIDATES QUALIFIED FOR NET FOR PROJECT JRF OR LECTURESHIP ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.
Areas of research – Impact of hypoxia on the placenta and neonate development.
