Name of the Project – “Germplasm characterization and trait discovery in wheat using
genomics approaches and their integration for improving climate resilience, productivity and nutritional quality”.

Terms and Conditions –

1. Age Limit for the positions is 35 years. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years relaxation for SC/ST and woman candidates as per Government/ ICAR guidelines. The minimum age should be of 18 years as of the date of the interview.
2. Only the candidates shortlisted on the basis of the CV sent by them would be intimated for the interview.
3. No objection certificate from the employer should be attached, in case he/ she has an employment failing which candidature will not be considered.
4. Canvassing in any form would lead to disqualification of the candidate.
5. The selected candidates shall not claim for any regular appointments at this institute as the above positions are purely contractual, non-regular, time-bound and are co-terminus with the project.

Emoluments –

1. Rs. 31000 per month +HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility tests- UGC-National Eligibility Test, CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship), GATE or (b) A selection process through National level exam conducted by Central government departments and their agencies.
   and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IISER etc.
2. Rs. 25000+HRA to scholars who do not fall under (i) above

Any changes in the above as notified by the Ministry of Science and Technology, India
will be applicable to the selected candidate.

Essential Qualifications – Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ BTech
(Biotechnology)

Desirable – Experience in biochemical and molecular techniques, and wheat crop operations.
