Recruitment of one Research Associate (RA-1) under a SERB project at Department of
Physiology, University of Calcutta

Name of the Project – “Exploring the Mechanism of Arsenic-Induced Neuro-inflammation and its Effect on Adult Hippocampal Neurogenesis: Possible Protection by Folic Acid Supplementation” (Sanction no. – File Number: CRG/2020/003159 dated 10.03.2021).
Duration of Associateship – 02 years or termination of the Project, whichever is earlier
(subject to the availability of funds and satisfactory performance of the Associate)

Essential qualifications – PhD in Physiology/any branch of Life Science with
at least two publications in high ranking peer-reviewed journals. The candidate should have
hands-on experience with cell and tissue culture techniques, animal handling, and routine
biochemical, immunological and molecular biology assays.
