Positions are available for six Technical assistants on a purely temporary/contractual basis under the Govt. of Assam funded project entitled “Development of an organic Tea hub at Tocklai for promotion of organic tea production in Assam” at Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Jorhat 785008, Assam as per details below
Name of the Post – Technical Assistant (Temporary)
No. of Posts – 6 (six)
Name of the Project – “Development of an organic Tea hub at Tocklai for promotion of organic tea production in Assam”
Project duration – For a period of 11 months only.
Tenure – The appointments will be purely on a temporary/contractual basis and hence the Institute will not provide any employment after the completion of the project.

Applicants will bring all their related documents (original as well as photocopy) on the day of the interview. No TA/DA or any other expenses will be provided for attending the interview. All other terms and conditions of appointment will be governed by prevailing rules & regulations of the Institute and the decision of the Chairman of the Selection Committee will be final and binding.Essential Qualification – B. Sc. Agriculture/ Life Science. Experience in Tea is preferable.
Emoluments – Rs. 15,000/- per month (consolidated), no other allowances are admissible.
