Duration – Temporary for one year and may be renewed each year up to a total period of three years depending upon performance and requirement.

Essential Qualifications –
Full-time Science Graduate in Life Sciences, Biology and related disciplines with minimum
60% marks in aggregate.
Essential Experience –
A person should be well acquainted with basic molecular biology, cell culture procedures and also software for online record keeping. A person
should be responsible and well organized.a) Minimum 1 year of experience working in a molecular biology research laboratory.
b) Experience with mammalian cell culture, DNA transfection and analysis of gene
expression. Experience with RNAi or shRNA mediated knockdown in mammalian cells and
cell sorting via FACS.
c) Experience with common molecular biology techniques such as gene cloning, PCR, RNA,
cDNA preparation.
Job Requirement –
a) Assist with mammalian cell culture, FACS, and biochemical protein methods such as IP,
SDS-PAGE, Western Blot.
b) Assist with performing molecular biology experiments such as DNA, RNA isolation,
gene cloning and knockdown.
c) Ordering, and maintaining inventory of lab consumables, general chemicals, molecular
biology and biochemical reagents.
d) Assist with mouse genotyping and record keeping.
Consolidated Pay – Rs.48,500/- consolidated pay (including HRA of Rs.7,600/-)
TME – Rs.48,500/- consolidated pay (including HRA of Rs.7,600/-)
General Information –
The prescribed age should not exceed as of 1st Jan 2022 for the above posts.
Post for the general category (Unreserved) – SC/ST/OBC/PWD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates can also apply.
Selected candidates may have to work in shifts/outside office hours and on Saturdays/ Sundays and holidays.

Applicants in Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector Undertaking must apply through the proper channels. Applicants, who do not send their applications through the proper channel, if called, will be able to participate in the recruitment process only upon submission of the NOC from the competent authority. However, an advance copy of the application along with relevant enclosures may be submitted by post on or before 22nd April 2022. Such applicants are not required to apply online.

ii) Note: The candidates are required to produce the following original documents with copies at the time of the recruitment process:
a. Identity proof (Aadhar Card/ Election Card / Pan Card / Passport / Driving Licence).
b. Printout of the online application form.
c. Date of birth / Proof of age.
d. Educational Qualification (all mark sheets and certificates).
For the post at S.No.1
In case Universities/boards award letter grades/CGPA/OGPA, the same will have to be indicated as an equivalent percentage of marks as per the norms adopted by the University/ Board. In the absence of the same, the candidature will not be considered (While submitting original documents for verification, the candidates will have to produce the norms of the University/Board for conversion of grades/CGPA/OGPA to equivalent percentage of marks.
e. Experience Certificates.
f. Conduct certificates from two respectable persons.
iii) Outstation candidates called for the recruitment process for the post at Sr. No.1 will be paid a single second class (not air-conditioned) train fare for the journey by the shortest route from the nearest railway station of their place of residence on the production of photocopies of onward and return journey ticket.
If you travel by air (for the post at Sr. No.1), you are required to purchase air tickets ONLY from 1) M/s Balmer Lawrie & Company Ltd. (BLCL) 2) M/s Ashok Travels & Tours (ATT) 3) Indian Railways Catering & Tourism Ltd. (IRCTC). BOOKING THROUGH THE WEBSITE OF AIRLINES IS NOT ALLOWED. The airfare for such candidates will be restricted to eligible train fares on the production of tickets and boarding passes.
iv). The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for the recruitment process to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. Mere fulfilling the essential and desirable qualifications will not entitle an applicant to be called for the recruitment process. More vacancies may also be filled through this advertisement. The Institute reserves the right not to fill any/some posts herein advertised. Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidate.
