A project titled – “Demonstrating the mechanism of host protein sequestration by
plasmids in the events of elevated replication transcription conflicts in Escherichia coli”
Upper Age limit (years) – 35
Essential Qualification – Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ MVSc or
bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University
or equivalent.
Desirable – The Candidate with expertise in genetic manipulation of E. coli genome
(using homologous and FLP recombination, P1 transduction), reporter designing for in
vivo studies and knowledge in cloning, over-expression and purification of protein is
desirable.
Monthly Emoluments – (i) Rs. 31,000/- +HRA to Scholars who are selected through a (a)
National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE
process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government
Departments and their agencies and Institutions.
(ii) Rs. 25,000/- +HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above
